SPARTAN

SPARTAN is one of the few packages which combine several computational techniques: molecular mechanics, semiempirical hamiltonians like AM1 and PM3, and ab initio basis sets.
Many of the exercises described in this course, and using more than one program, can be handled within SPARTAN.
As with AMPAC, the Center holds one personal license for SPARTAN which can be used for testing purposes.
